"Starwars The Old Republic" is a massively multiplayer online role playing game, or MMORPG. It it Electronic Arts most expensive project ever, has the most voice actors to ever work on a single project total, and is being developed by two very well known developers, Bioware, and Lucasarts.

This game is set a couple hundred years after Bioware's "Knights of the Old Republic" videogame (2003) which won several game of the year awards. The game is about the return of the sith empire, and the war that occurs between them and the galactic republic. The game takes place thousands of years before the original movie trilogy, in a period of time where Jedi and Sith were numerous.
